Another option is to disguise many source addresses, and attackers will assume that hosts on some of these disguised addresses will not respond to SYN-ACK packets. To implement this method, you need to recycle the addresses on the list of source IP addresses that the server wants to connect to, or make the same modifications to hosts in a subnet.
